Nine beauty products I can’t live without.
This is so strange, but I found this in the checkout line at Home Sense and I seriously can’t live without it. It has a soft vanilla, grapefruit and sandalwood smell. It keeps me smelling good all day and it is 100% natural! This company uses all essential oils which are just lovely! This bottle was only $6 and it will last me a good five or six months.
Oh my goodness, this is probably the best face wash I have ever bought and it is also the cheapest! We are talking $5 to your best skin ever my friend. It kind of stings when you put it on, but I swear it cleanses so well because I never break out anymore.
While I am on Trader Joe’s products might as well run with it. They know what they are doing at that store. This is only $4 and it rocks! I only use this moisturizer when I am running errands and I know the sun is going to be shining (even in the winter). I usually use my tinted moisturizer on top of this in the morning but otherwise this lotion by itself is great. It does not have a very oily foundation which is why I love it for under my makeup. It has no fragrance added to it if you have allergies as well.
I don’t even bother buying creams or butters anymore because I simply love straight up coconut oil as a body lotion. That probably sounds weird to you if you have never heard of it before but let me tell you: a) you will smell lightly of coconuts, b) it reduces the look of cellulite, c) it is all natural , and d) $a 13 coconut oil bottle will last you a year. After I get out of the shower, I dry off then proceed to rub the coconut oil somewhat deeply into my skin for hydration. I swear it’s the best!
I only really started using a body brush about a year ago. I swear that they reduce the look of cellulite. When you body brush, not only are you getting ride of dead skin cells and exfoliating your skin, you are draining your lymphatic system which makes you look leaner. Once I have my youtube site up and running I will do a video tutorial on how I do my facial and body lymphatic massages.
Another thing I only just became obsessed with this last year is this face cloth. My boyfriend’s mom is the one who showed me this brand and it is honestly the best. The material is made out of silver microfibres which cleanses your face without any soap! The cloth is so soft and so nice to use! They are about $10 but so worth it. This cloth is an absolute lifesaver when you travel.
Seriously obsessed with this facial oil and this line. Everything is organic and naturally made. It also is all eco-friendly – a big bonus! I always use a moisturizer in the morning with my makeup but I use this facial oil before bed. It makes my skin look so much younger and dewier. My aunt swears that this brand has decreased the look of wrinkles on her face. Not everyone is meant for facial oils, but I can’t get enough of this one. One bottle costs about $45 and it will last about three months.
So this is a little pricy. It is about $56 here in Canada. It probably lasts me about half a year or more depending on how often I use it. I love love love this tinted moisturizer. I have been using it now for three years. It goes on so light and perfect. I don’t even use foundation anymore; just this and I’m done. It saves me a lot of time in the morning. It has a very dewy/glow look to it (which is probably why it is a little costly). For me it is an absolute keeper though! Usually I ask my sister or mom to buy me one on my birthday and Christmas to avoid paying for it myself lol.
And to top off the beauty products I’m obsessed with… You can probably tell from all my pictures that I only wear this colour nail polish. It has a real natural but clean look to it – I never get sick of it. I think it works well with all clothing colours and it looks awesome with a tan. This bottle is $8.50 and you can find it in just about any drug store.
Overall I try to stick to natural and organic products these days but sometimes what I use is too good too mess with. Is there any beauty products you simply can’t live without?? Let me know so I can give em a try – comment below!
