Hi! My name is Emma Marie. I love cooking nutritious meals and attempting to take cute photos of them.
My main goal of this blog is to inspire people of all ages to eat local sustainable foods and to be their best self through adapting a healthy lifestyle. I like to take the “everything in moderation” approach within all aspects of my life – especially in the kitchen.
My kitchen is completely gluten free!
I believe the greatest success in life is being healthy and happy!
A Little More About Me Career/Future
Outside my food blogging world, I recently graduated with a diploma from BCIT in Broadcast Media and Communications. I originally went into the program aspiring to be a news anchor for some huge television station… I quickly discovered news journalism was not the career I wanted to pursue. I felt the news world was very negative. It was at this point in my life that I made a switch to something more uplifting and positive… I decided to use my training in writing and web design to create ‘With Love, Emma’. I am currently finishing my degree in Communications.
The main goal of ‘With Love, Emma’ is to inspire you to be YOUR best self. A few years ago, I found myself dwindling in self-hate because I was constantly comparing myself to other women on social media. One day, I woke up and decided that I no longer wanted to contribute to that negative part of society…. I deleted my personal social media account and started focusing more of my time and energy on finding a passion that would make feel good about myself. That is when I created my very own blog to showcase my creativity and also help guide others to a healthy and nutritious way of life; a life that is centred around self-love.
